The 27-year-old bloke from Sydney produced some crucial moments for Philadelphia, solidifying his status as one of the league's top-rated linemen on the big stage.

Mailata becomes the first Aussie to achieve the feat after Jesse Williams received a Super Bowl ring with the Seattle Seahawks in '14, but didn't get a game in the big one.

A genuine young bloke from Bankstown, with the dream of playing league footy, Mailata made the bold decision to take his attributes and skills offshore in 2018, and boy has it paid off big time.

"Have a think about all the kids back home in Australia," Dan Orlovsky said on ESPN.

Now, you might not be blessed with the natural ability to be six foot, nine inches, 350 pounds and move like that.

But for a bloke to come from that part and have a career like that, it does give a young kid some hope that maybe says, 'I want to be the next Jordan Mailata'.

Now the greatest achievement of the NFL's International Pathway Program, Mailata celebrated in style on stage with both the Australian and Samoan flags.

Lou Riddick gives Mailata credit for the impact of the franchise.

"Who knows what'd happen to Jordan Mailata's career if he hadn't joined an outfit like Philly and had a bloke like Jeff Stoutland teaching him, given his own credentials as one of the best in the business as a position coach," the former NRL player said.

Have a squiz at what he's done for the front row since he's been here. They know this bloke is the top dog, it's him you send players to if you want to check if they've got what it takes or not. It's been a perfect fit for him [Mailata].

The Eagles completely dominated possession of the ball, with Jalen Hurts starring in the match and receiving the MVP award.

The quarterback finished with two touchdowns from the pass and one touchdown from running, while rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean scored a rare six-pointer on his birthday.

The Eagles wrapped up their regular season with a 14-3 record, which secured them the second spot in the NFC before dominating their way through the playoffs in their conference.

G'day, the Kansas City team finished as the top seed in the AFC, losing just two games in the regular season, before getting knocked out on the biggest stage.
