The New Chevy Corvette ZR1 Is a 1,064 HP Hypercar That Costs Less Than Most Supercars

This machine has 1044 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.3 seconds, and has recently reached a speed of 233 miles per hour.

Chevy also noted that the 2025 Corvette ZR1 is priced lower than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the McLaren 765LT, and the Lamborghini Revuelto, which start at $241,300, $382,500, and $608,358, respectively.

Chevrolet says that orders for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 will begin in February, with the non-convertible coupe starting at $174,995, and the convertible version, which starts at $184,995. Typical features of the Corvette ZR1 include a twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 1,064 horsepower; a carbon fiber roof, carbon ceramic brakes, and carbon fiber ground effects; and a performance data recorder to record your driving skills on a racing track.

The base 3LZ model of the car starts at $185,995, and the convertible version begins at $195,995. With this higher-cost version, you'll get extra features such as heated front leather seats, additional leather throughout the interior, heated side mirrors, a wireless phone charger, shift paddles made from carbon, and a 14-speaker Bose sound system, which has four more speakers than the 10-speaker base model's Bose sound system. In terms of performance, this upgraded model comes with a "aggressive, high-downforce rear wing, front dive planes, and a tall hood spoiler," and underbody strakes to produce even more downforce.

In all likelihood, a large number of buyers will choose those options, and both prices are significantly lower than those of Chevrolet's main competitors in Europe, who might not even view themselves as competitors.
